Crash Guard Accident Membership Summary
The purpose of this Summary is to help you understand the Membership by setting out the significant features, benefits, limitations and exclusions. You should still read the full Membership Wording for a full description of the terms of the benefits, including definitions. This Membership Summary does not form part of the Terms and Conditions.
Membership Provider
This agreement in exchange for consideration provided by the Member or by any agent on the Members behalf to Auto Claims UK Ltd, Auto Claims UK Ltd will procure the provision to the Member of the Benefits upon the terms of this Agreement.
Duration of Membership
The Period of Membership is for 12 months from the date shown as confirmed in your Crash Guard welcome email, the expiry date will be the same as that of the current certificate of motor insurance for the member’s vehicle.
Cost
The amount payable is as stated in your Schedule.
Cover
This is a claims made assurance which covers claims notified within the Period of Membership. The Membership indemnifies you for legal costs, professional costs and awards of compensation in situations shown in the bullets below.

Member Benefits
One Stop Accident Management and Claims Assistance
An Emergency 24hr line is available for our members to report incidents. Following such a call Auto Claims UK Ltd will administer all motor claims on behalf of the Member and liaise with the Members Insurance Broker.
Auto Claims UK Ltd will also provide telephone advice in completing accident report forms and dealing with all claims related correspondence following your accident.
Replacement Like for Like Vehicle Following a Non-Fault Road Traffic Accident
A replacement vehicle which Auto Claims UK Ltd considers appropriate for the Member will be made available if the members vehicle is un-driveable or being repaired due to a Non-Fault Road Traffic Accident .
The Replacement Vehicle will only be provided for as long as it is reasonably required as determined by Auto Claims UK Ltd. Provision of a Replacement Vehicle under this subsection is subject to the Member or Authorised Driver not being wholly or partly at fault for the Road Traffic Accident and to “What is not covered”, Section 4, not applying. The question of whole or partial fault will be determined by Auto Claims UK Ltd.
Credit Repair following a Non – Fault Road Traffic Accident
Auto Claims UK Ltd will seek to arrange on request, funding of necessary and reasonable repairs to the members vehicle by an Auto Claims UK Ltd Approved Repairer following a clear Non Fault Road Traffic Accident.
A repair under this section is subject to the Member or Authorised Driver not being wholly or partly at fault for the Road Traffic Accident and to “What is not covered”, Section 4, not applying. The question of whole or partial fault will be determined by Auto Claims UK Ltd.
Guaranteed Courtesy Car
If the Members vehicle is unavailable due to a fault incident rendering the members vehicle a “Total Loss” or Theft Auto Claims UK Ltd will arrange and pay the costs for providing a Courtesy Car for the period which the member’s vehicle is unavailable or un-roadworthy, up to a maximum of 30 days.
Provided that:
(i) The motor insurer of the Members Vehicle is paying the claim and also in case of Theft, it has already been reported to Police and a Crime Reference Number obtained
(ii) That there is no courtesy car provision under the terms of your Motor Insurance
(iii) Any relevant additional insurance premiums are paid to insure the courtesy vehicle by the Member or Authorised Driver We will not pay more than one claim in any one period of Insurance or Membership. The member may at their discretion, pay additional charges to upgrade the class of vehicle or extend the hire beyond 30 days.
A courtesy car will be provided by our Approved Repairer if the Member’s vehicle is damaged in a fault incident and they wish to utilise the Policy Excess Protection.
£250 Excess Protection
If a member has utilised their own motor insurance to claim for the repairs to their vehicle Auto Claims UK Ltd will pay up to £250 of the Policy excess under the terms of the membership providing the vehicle has been repaired at one of the Auto Claims UK Ltd approved repair centres.
For the avoidance of doubt if the excess is less than £250 only the lessor amount will be the amount protected.
